Supported Independent Living refers to daily support to ensure you have the best chance to live as independently as possible, this funding is approved to a person who needs significant amount of support throughout the day. This funding is included in the Core funding of your NDIS plan. Assistance with daily household tasks like cleaning, cooking and personal care are provided as a part of SIL supports. We will work with you to create or update your Roster of Care, if your needs have changed, you may have to get a report from a qualified Allied Health Practitioner [AHP] to show this to the NDIS.

At Amazing Care Services, We have exciting opportunities to join our SIL (Supported Independent Living) arrangements in South Australia. We offer shared support 24/7 with opportunities for capacity building to improve daily living and other skills while encouraging independence and ensuring a participant’s individual support needs are met. We have highly skilled, passionate and friendly staff who work with participants to support them in achieving their goals.

Our support services are usually available 24/7 and can include:

• Help to manage money and household budgeting
• Assistance with cooking
• Assistance with cleaning and laundry
• Help to catch public transport to visit friends and family
• Personal care such as showering and dressing
• Support with grocery shopping
• Support with supervision, safety and security
• Assistance with daily skills training
• New Hobby Assistance
• Assistance with administration of medication
• Transport assistance to appointments
• Promote participation in household and community activities.
